When is Ugadi?
In March or April, on the first day of the Chaitra month. It moves every year with the lunar calendar, so check your panchangam for the exact date.
Is Ugadi a cracker festival in Karnataka?
It is the Kannada new year, and crackers play a smaller part than at Deepavali: a few sound items in the morning and sparklers for the children, rather than an evening display. Most families spend more on the feast than on the fireworks.
Is the minimum order the same outside Deepavali season?
Yes, five thousand rupees all year. Off-season orders usually reach you faster because the transport lines are not congested.
